Review: Super Sound Recorder is a software program with a fairly self-explanatory name - it gives you the ability to record audio from different sources. It can be used by individuals of any level of experience. Application interface is plain and easy to navigate through, you can start by specifying the output destination file and format (MP3 or WAV), together with the recording source. This can be either from the software, MIDI, audio CD, line or microphone. Advanced users can freely adjust the sound settings when it comes to volume, sampling, channel mode and speed. In addition, you can set up Super Sound Recorder to stop recording after a certain interval of silence, and to automatically rename files if they already exist. These options can be restored to their original values. Other features Super Sound Recorder allows editing ID3 tags (when recording MP3 files), open the target folder location and shooting schedule repetitive fashion (1, daily or weekly), along with start and end times. It is possible to schedule as many jobs to record as you like. Last but not least, you can view the images in the built-in audio player and edit them using the Super Sound Editor (eg copy or reduced choice, put another silence, zoom in and out). Audio recording program requires a low to moderate amount of memory and a high amount of CPU. It is a fair response time, make audio recordings with good sound quality and includes a help file. No error dialogs are displayed during our testing, and Super Sound Recorder does not freeze or crash. Unfortunately, the app has not been updated for quite a long time.
